Past Perfect (videoconference notes)

Here are the notes about the Past Perfect that I showed you:


PAST PERFECT: We use the past perfect (had + past participle) to talk about time up to a certain point in the past.

Past perfect for the earlier of two past actions

We can use the past perfect to show the order of two past events.

The past perfect shows the earlier action and the past simple shows the later action.

Examples:

The thief had escaped when the police arrived.

When the police arrived, the thief had escaped.

¿Qué tal la salida de ayer? Cada día un poco más cerca 😏. Chicos, esta semana tendréis las autoevaluaciones de la unidad 11 de lengua y matemáticas.

Estamos finalizando los dos temas sólo vamos a ampliar un concepto más en ambos temas.
Mañana os pondré los resúmenes.

NATURAL S: Read Biomes from North to South (pages 10-11). Do exercises: page 36 (1,2,3) in your notebook.

SOCIAL S: Read pages 44-45 (Introduction to Economy) and The Economic Sectors (page 46). Do exercises: page 70 (2,4,5) in your notebook. 

At the end of the week, on Friday, there will be an ENGLISH questionnaire about the new contents of Unit 7. We won't do any NATURAL or SOCIAL questionnaires this Friday because we have just started new topics.

From now on, the organization of the bilingual subjects' work will be like this:

- ENGLISH: every day I will post some activities to do.

- NATURAL AND SOCIAL S: on Mondays, you'll have the activities to do in the week.

- ARTS: on Fridays, every two weeks, you'll have something to do.

Es decir, el trabajo de NATURAL y SOCIAL S (áreas que no damos a diario) se mandará semanalmente para que cada uno pueda organizarse en función de sus circunstancias. El trabajo de ARTS será quincenal y, el de INGLÉS, diario (como hacíamos hasta ahora).
