Today, we are going to correct your English exercises from yesterday and I'll ask you to locate some relief on a physical map of Europe.
ENGLISH: Correct Activity Book page 126 and revise Unit 6.
Exercise 1 (UPDATED - Sorry I made a mistake and didn't include the answers before, thanks for telling me!)
1We ARE GOING TO catch the 7.15 train. I’ve got the tickets in my bag.
2Is that the phone ringing? I WILL answer it.
3Shall I have the strawberry or the chocolate flavour? Hmm, I WILL have the chocolate.
4Suzy says she ISN'T GOING TO go to school today, because she has a doctor’s appointment.
5Anna and I ARE GOING TO join the French club because we want to speak French on holiday.
6Wow, look at those big waves. I think I WILL go surfing this afternoon.
Exercise 2
1. Sue asked Anna where her house was.
2. They asked mum who the President of the USA was.
3. I asked Lisa which sport she preferred.
4. Dad asked them where they had put the house keys.
5. She asked Mr Jones what time PE was today.
SOCIAL S: Print a physical map of Europe (if you can't, look at one and locate the following relief on a piece of paper - giving each a number). This time, we're going to study the relief of Europe in English.
- Atlantic Ocean, Cantabrian Sea, North Sea, Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Caspian Sea.
- The Pyrenees, Alps, Scandinavian Mountains, Ural Mountains, Caucasus Mountais, Great European plain, East European plain, Carpathians, Apennines, Balkans.
- Mont Blanc, Mount Elbrus, Aneto.
- Volga, Rhine, Danube, Thames, Seine
Please, revise Term 2 of Social S and the physical geography of Spain and Europe.
Today, I'm not asking you to do any Arts, you have to do the map. I'll post some ideas about Easter tomorrow.
